NIMIT, Thailand

NIMIT Langsuan, designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), is a 210-meter-high residential tower located in Bangkok, Thailand, overlooking the green areas of Lumpini Park. The project represents a super-luxury high-rise development characterized by a strong architectural and façade identity.

The tower is distinguished within Bangkok’s skyline by a three-dimensional glazed façade composed of curved glass elements that vertically articulate the envelope. These elements define a continuous glazed grid extending from the podium to the top of the building across 54 floors, combining architectural expression with technical complexity.

Special attention was given to the design of the building corners, which were optimized to provide open and panoramic views of the city while maintaining façade continuity and performance.

The building envelope was specifically engineered to control glare and manage solar gains in a tropical climate. High-performance glass coatings were specified to limit overheating of the internal spaces while achieving the required solar and visual performance, ensuring indoor comfort without compromising transparency.

At the tenth floor, a suspended swimming pool overlooks Lumpini Park, integrating amenities within the vertical organization of the tower. Residential facilities were carefully designed to meet high-end performance requirements, including full car-parking provision, privacy, and advanced security systems.

The project demonstrates how complex glazed façade systems can be engineered to balance architectural ambition, environmental performance, and user comfort in high-rise residential design.
